Fertility Options for Intended parents to grow their families

Sep 15, 2021 | 0 comments

Here at Guidance Agency, we offer two options for intended parents to grow their families; Gestational surrogacy and egg donation. We connect, counsel, and guide families on the road to parenthood using our first-hand experience, expertise, and handpicked network of surrogates and donors.

Although Guidance Agency is not a fertility clinic or a cryobank, we have many wonderful egg donors available to commit to a cycle. Additionally, we have a network of surrogates from which you can choose one who meets all your needs. We understand the pressure and responsibility on the shoulders of all parties. Thus we try to relieve their mental and emotional stress through mindful messaging. Our team can help you make a reliable choice if you aren’t already established with a fertility clinic for treatment. Below, we expound on the options available at Guidance Agency and some available from our partners’ fertility clinics.

1. Gestational Surrogacy

Gestational surrogacy is a process by which an agreement is made between two people, the surrogate mother and the intended parents. The surrogate agrees to undergo pregnancy and give birth to a child for the intended parents. Often this is a woman who has proven fertility but for some reason cannot carry her baby to term.

We make everything easy to understand throughout the surrogate program so no one feels left out or misinformed. We are different from any other agency because of our unique and holistic approach and our family-like behavior with you. We are advocates and educators for your experience and the greater community.

We design our surrogacy process for intended parents who plan to have embryos but require the assistance of a gestational surrogate. We will help you find a reliable fertility clinic if you are not established with one. We’ll then match you with a surrogate who meets your legal, psychological, and emotional needs.

2. Egg donation

Couples who are struggling to have a family can turn to egg donation as a solution. Egg donation is an option for women with certain conditions, such as low ovarian reserve. Human eggs are retrieved from another woman and then fertilized with sperm from the male partner.

Guidance is a proud Women-Owned and Operated egg donation agency, and we are all experienced egg donors. It is our mission to advocate for your positive and healthy experience. We have personally been through every step and coordinated cycles nationwide. We have worked with over 150 clinics in the U.S. and Canada. However, we can coordinate a donor cycle with any facility that accepts third-party donors.

3. In Vitro Fertilization Treatment

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a process where fertility drugs are used to stimulate the ovaries to produce more eggs, which then go through a retrieval procedure and are fertilized with sperm outside of the body. The resulting embryos are then transferred back into the uterus.

The process begins with hormone injections for women who have menstrual periods or menopausal and stimulating ovulation to increase the production of eggs in females who have not had their period yet or had not menstruated recently. In vitro fertilization is one option for couples diagnosed with infertility due to issues such as blocked fallopian tubes.

As IVF treatment has become more mainstream and less stigmatized, it has become more available and affordable for people who need it. We will help you choose a reliable clinic for your surrogate according to your needs.

4. Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Intrauterine insemination is a technique used for the treatment of infertility. The process involves depositing sperms directly into the uterus, close to where the egg would normally be released if a woman were ovulating normally. However, it is not always successful and requires some luck.

Success rates vary from 20% – 60%. It depends on factors such as the age of the
woman, cause of infertility, and ovulation cycles. It is also important to note that success rates are higher for couples with male factor infertility than females. This option is available at fertility clinics in partnership with us and is an option for our surrogates.

5. Clomid Treatment for Women

Clomid is a medication that can stimulate ovulation and help a woman get pregnant. Clomid treatment is often used in women who have not been able to conceive independently, or in some cases, to treat endometriosis. It is usually taken once per day for 5-6 days, starting after menstruation or at the time of ovulation.

The drug blocks feedback inhibition from gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and other hormones on the pituitary gland that regulates the production of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). The action can help trigger ovulation.
